Backup & recovery

A backup you've never restored from is a hope, not a plan. We design, manage, and test backup systems with immutable storage, documented runbooks, and proof your auditors — and your future self — can rely on.

Why backup & recovery matters

No solution makes you 100% safe — what good backup architecture does is minimize the impact of an incident, accelerate recovery, and prove due diligence to auditors. We build for all three, aligned with CMMC, NIST 800-171, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and ISO 27001.

Core features

Everything between "we lost it" and "we're back."

Immutable Backups

Write-once-read-many (WORM) storage that ransomware and bad actors can't alter or delete during the retention period — your copy of last resort.

Microsoft 365 Backup

Independent backup of Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams — because Microsoft provides resiliency, not long-term backup.

Server & Endpoint Protection

Application-aware backups for servers and endpoint data, so what restores is a working system, not just a pile of files.

Disaster Recovery Planning

Documented DR runbooks and test restores — the difference between a recovery plan and a recovery guess.

Ransomware Recovery

Layered, immutable copies and documented recovery processes that minimize downtime when the worst-case actually happens.

Compliance-Ready Reporting

Backup and restore evidence mapped to your frameworks, ready when an assessor asks how you'd recover.

Your data, your way

Three ways to engage, depending on what you have and what's missing.

Design & Deploy

For greenfield builds or overhauls: discovery and assessment, architecture on 3-2-1 (+1 immutability) principles, Microsoft 365 backup, and DR readiness with documented runbooks and test restores.

  • 3-2-1+1
  • New build or overhaul

Manage & Improve

Tool-agnostic management of your existing backups: gap analysis, ongoing monitoring and failure resolution, immutable S3-compatible off-site extensions, quarterly test restores, and audit-ready reporting.

  • Tool-agnostic
  • Quarterly test restores

Storage as a Service

S3-compatible, compliance-aligned storage with flat capacity-based billing — no egress or API fees. WORM immutability, 11x9s durability, 99.99% availability, hosted in SOC 2 / ISO 27001 / PCI-DSS certified facilities with HIPAA support.

  • Flat billing
  • No egress fees
  • WORM

Frequently asked questions

Doesn't Microsoft 365 already back up our data?

No. Microsoft provides resiliency, not backup — deleted items are recoverable only for a limited time. Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams all need independent backup, and that's a standard part of every architecture we deploy.

How often should we test restores?

Quarterly at minimum, with documented DR runbooks. A backup that's never been restored is unverified — and an assessor will treat it that way. Test restores are built into our managed service, not an extra.

What does "immutable" actually protect against?

Immutability prevents backups from being altered or deleted during the retention period — which is what defeats ransomware that targets backups first. It is not infinite: once retention expires, the data ages out per policy. We size retention to your recovery and compliance requirements.

We already have backup tools. Do we have to replace them?

No — our Manage & Improve engagement is tool-agnostic. We take over monitoring and failure resolution on what you have, then layer in immutable off-site copies and compliance reporting where the gaps are.

Protect your data. Prove your resilience.

Tell us what you're backing up today and we'll show you where the gaps are — recovery time, immutability, M365 coverage, and the evidence trail.
